We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Brian Martin from Hunter-Gatherer, who will be presenting his captivating lineup of wines on Wednesday 18 March. Hunter-Gatherer is a boutique producer and widely regarded as one of the best – and certainly best value – wineries in the Macedon Ranges.

Meet the Winemaker
Brian Martin left a career in accounting to spend over a decade as Chief Winemaker at Kilchurn — the biggest contract sparkling wine facility in the southern hemisphere.
In 2015, he and his wife Ros bought a vineyard in the Macedon Ranges and launched Hunter-Gatherer. He now farms 12 acres of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Riesling and Merlot on deep volcanic soils at 550 metres above sea level.
Brian's knowledge and enthusiasm is addictive and his wines are overflowing with personality. On the night, he'll be pouring and talking you through every one.
World-Class Wines
From traditional method sparkling to Heathcote Shiraz, Hunter-Gatherer's lineup spans some of Victoria's best cool-climate growing country. The wines have earned strong scores across the board — including marks from Halliday, Bennie and Knox — and represent some of the best value in the Macedon Ranges.
Two wines matched to each course, across a five-course dinner by Head Chef & Owner David Murphy.
